The sleeker more ergonomic design allows for a better feel in your hand while giving it a smooth flowing appearance. The stainless steel jaws were also designed with a larger radius and a Nickel Boron coating to reduce wear on D-loops as well as reduce friction. We added this ultra low friction corrosion resistant coating to the jaws carriage and trigger assembly. This gives it a crisper feel to go along with the smoother trigger cycle. We also reduced the starting trigger travel while maintaining generous hot /cold adjustments so you can customize the release to your liking. It also has TruFire's threaded length adjustment that can be locked down if so desired once you find the perfect fit. All of those features are connected to the plush saddle cloth buckle strap via the patented Foldback ring that allows you to quietly and easily fold the head of the release down against your wrist and out of the way. This allow the archer to put your release on before heading into the woods fold it back and you are free to climb glass rattle warm your hands or make a pit stop without ever having to take your release off or make unwanted noise. Last but not least the Trap Tab feature allows the archer to simply slide their hand through the buckle and sinch it tight with the other. This makes it faster and easier to put your release on and the adjustable retainer helps keep the tag end tucked securely on the buckle without having a bulge in it. Overall the Smoke 2.0 is jam packed with proprietary features that allow you to customize the shooting experience be more comfortable afield while ultimately improving your accuracy and consistency.
